
CHARCOAL DRAWING FOR BEGINNERS
This adult charcoal drawing class welcomes both beginners and intermediate students who are interested in exploring the expressive possibilities of charcoal. The course will cover essential skills such as observation, proportion, value, and contrast, while emphasizing confidence and experimentation with the medium. Students will learn the basics of handling charcoal and building strong drawings, while refining technique and developing a more expressive, personal style. Through structured exercises and guided projects, students will gain a deeper understanding of charcoal as a powerful and versatile drawing tool. In the end, it should get you much closer to creating artwork that is bold, confident, and meaningful.
Class will be held 6 Mondays from April 13th - May 18th
4 - 6:30 PM
